Georgia Southern University has scheduled time for the public to hear from the Rosser International Study Committee on Saturday, October 18, concerning the University's Football Bowl Subdivision feasibility study. The session will take place at 10 a.m. in the Nessmith-Lane Building Assembly Hall.

The one hour session will center on the study process. The meeting will conclude at 11 a.m. so that the committee members can move to their next scheduled session later that morning, and attend the Georgia Southern-Appalachian State game with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m.

Dont you mean the BCS or the former Div 1-A level as in Bama, Michigan (heehee)and UCLA etc…? If so go get ‘em GSU...get out of our way...…like Marshall you too can be fed alive to the Texas’ and LSU’s of the world and generally disappear w/o a trace every autumn… Me ,I like being the Light Heavyweight champs of football…small town atmosphere, no big time problems, lots of respect and usually in contention every year at the Con- ference level…the problem is????

The first poster has it dead on...we down here dont know how good we have it, even w/o a Championship run like ASU has enjoyed...it will be someone else's turn this year but we'll be right in there...like your GSU team Saturday...no quit in any of them!

Leave well enough alone.... Bad econ.. Great conference and well???? the money isn't bad either.

Next year play Appalachian State with 35,000 or travel to AR State or WKU with 15,000

There WILL be a time but do what APP State is doing RIDE THE WAVE for now.....

The SOCON and GSU, ASU, Elon , FURMAN , Wofford will be the better for it.
