i gotta say i find it pretty hard to believe that chris hatcher isnt at fault for these players leaving… at some point hes gotta swallow some pride and quit losin players like henton..s to me it seems like he is less mature than the players hes supposed to be coaching…. its getting old having to rely on young players to try and win big games
For the third year in a row, a common theme Coach Hatcher has discussed on the Eagle Club circuit is the number of Freshman and Sophomores that we will be counting on in the coming season.
It’s becoming fairly obvious that this staff is not going to have a lot of Juniors and Seniors because of the problems they have with retaining players.
We are going to find out if it would be possible for a Junior college to win in the SoCon because with our inability to retain players, that’s what GSU has essentially become.
I’m with you there…I definitely want to see some improvement this year. But with the number of true freshmen we had playing last year, you have to expect inconsistency…and we got it. It’s looking like we will be young again this year, but I want to see us move in the right direction. Hatcher did inherit a mess, and from what I can tell has things heading in the right direction. But I’d like to see that translate into a few more wins this year. Unfortunately, we have a brutal road schedule so that won’t be easy.
The only differences between Hatcher and BVG are a southern accent and a the abilit to kiss ass.
Hatcher has talked a big game, andmany have annointed him as the savior. I’m from missouri on this one. Show me.
