What happened to JB Shippy?

JB Shippy:

I noticed on the GSU Eagles website that JB Shippy had been removed from the football roster. When I contacted the site about this they stated he was no longer on the roster. WHAT HAPPENED? How did we lose one of our best LB? Did he leave the school or is it an academic issue? Does anyone know whats going on and if we have lost any other players that I should know about?
