Next year will be Hatchers last chance to get it right. This embarrassing loss to App. St. shows he cannot prepare a team for a big game.  We need a Q-back, a power running game  and d-backs that can cover.   Next year if I hear someone say we are young i'm going to pull my hair out. Its time Hatch to dig in deep and find out what your made of!

I agree with some of that he should run some. The Rozier kid is okay. He avrages like 1.8 yards a carry thats not good. Robison they could mix in more. I think we have some talent. You cant blame it on the kids. Its the offensive calling Gilispe or Hatcher, our offensive is so predictable, i would tear them up if i was on the other side of the ball. Also, all you would have to throw on our defense is stops and benches bc they never press and leave so much space, they need to change that. There is no need to bash all the players its okay to say that they could do stuff better but not say they suck and not good. Hatch just needs to get his paly calling right and we could be better.

What? Did the coach make that statement. Yes he is trying to justify why he started chapel over Henton. It is no way he can justify that. Henton plays on a much larger level than chapel. You could tell that Henton knew the game and was a more skilled player. A quarterback has to be smart, he needs to know where his receivers and backs are at all times and when you cant throw, run. He needs to be able to see the whole picture and that chapel cant do

To Gator36. a lot of the times that he got sacked, he was wide open. A big hole was right there. A good QB would run when he see an open hole and has no one to throw it to. What does he do? He just stands there. You run when you see an opening--get some yards. and yes the best of the best fumble but when you running ONE person all the time, something is bound to happen. He aint no machine. Are they trying to get him hurt? Makes me wonder sometime. And One more thing the rozier kid, number 26 is awesome. Run him the whole game and see how many carries he get. I am not saying that Urbano is not good, he's okay but he just need some HELP. HELP MAN HELP.

Paula

Hatcher is probably reading the blogs and trying provide proof that he doesn't and will not adnit he misses Henton this year.

Hatcher doesn't have the experiance to be a Head Coach at a 1-AA school. He hired a staff with no experiance at this level, he recruits kids that are A and AA players and runs an offense that is inept, the way he runs the spread . Where are any recruits close to Covington or Jason Foster. Both out of AAAAA schools recruited by Sewark. Hatcher is creating to many negatives in our program that will take years to over come once he is let go.

It is not chapels fault that he gets sacked. maybe One or two times. but the rest arent i mean the line didnt do anything for the backs or the QB. i mean he cant just throw the ball away it will be int. grounding or he cant just throw it down the field without anyone open. Angle eyes yeah he shouldnt fumble, but best of running backs fumble. i have seen the best running back in the world at this time, Adrian peterson for the Vikings Fumble two times back to back and get stripped one. So everyone is gonna fumble, yeah its not good but its gonna happen, and by all means please tell me what backs have done equally or better than him? Maybe Robison they should sub them more, but nolley to slow and zeke i just dont know about him.

I must say that my heart bleeds for the players on the sideline. They have to be there to watch their team get stomped on the way appalacian state stomped on them last night. I can only imagine what they are saying in their mind when Chapel is out there getting sacked and Urbano is out there fumbling and getting the ball snatched out of his hands. How do they deal with seeing Urbano run the ball on every play knowing that they have team mates who can run the ball equally or better. How do they grasp the fact that the other quarterback only gets to practice when the clock has only 2 or 3 minutes? How do they feel when your best DE and DB, OL and DLs are on the sideline and you know they are on the sideline. How do they feel when they have to be associated with a losing team and they haven't even touched the field? MY HEART BLEEDS FOR THEM. SOMEBODY PRAY WITH ME AND FOR THE KIDS....

I cant believe that the coach made this statement on the Georgia Southern website

"(Chapple completed 20-of-34 passes for 156 yards and an interception. With 174 pass completions this year he broke Antonio Henton's record of 156 set last year. He also moved into the season 'Top 10' in passing yards, now 1,344 yards good for seventh place.("

BROKE ANTONIO HENTON'S RECORD. HENTON WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE AT QUARTERBACK. IF YOU THE ONLY ONE PLAYING THAT POSITION, YOU SHOULD BREAK EVERY RECORD IN FOOTBALL HISTORY. Henton and chaple is on a totally different level. Chapel dont even touch what Henton can and did do. Who's record is he breaking with the sacks? How many times has he gotten sacked in these past 7 games. probabaly about 35, not thats a record. The defense blocks for him, but you cant hold the other team for 10 minutes while he makes up his mind who to throw the ball too. Antonio Henton would have gotten us way over the hump.

I hate to rain on your idea but they don,t have any body else. They have all left the teamand this is what is left after 2 recruiting classes. We had better players from Sewark and it appears btter coaching.

terry Bowden has 26 players from `-A transfer to North Alabama. Why can't get pne or two of them. Let's put Anronio in or Caderi ( he caught 2 TG passes at Furman to get a winning season ) and there are many more who left the team in the last 2 years.

How about we find another Jason Foster it appears App St has found anoter Edwards. Another 4 years of App St whipping our butts.

Does Hatcher miss Antonio yet. I don't see another player on the field that matches his ability. You want back how about Shariff Baker 2nd leading rusher behind Henton Oh he quit

Hatcher doesn't get his young stubborn and he and his staff are over there heads.

GSu-2 yds offense at half time.

App St 300 - Yds at half time 600 Yds on our great defense.VEKEO

Pathetic, pathetic. Same players, same stupid runs. Every team already knows who is going to run, what play will be ran. They know GSU like a book. GSU need a QB, RB,they need to regroup. Are they afraid to play other players for more than one or two plays? Scared that someone will show that they are better than the players they are playing? Arbano cant do it all. The child gets tired sometime. LET SOMEBODY ELSE RUN THE BALL SOMETIME......We tired of looking at the same sorry stuff over and over and over again...
