5 wins 6 losses at best. AND no respect AND a downer for recruiting.

I am another one of those “don’t fix it if it ain’t broke:” guys.  Bring back the Triple Option – perhaps the yound head coach and former GSU assistant at Central Connecticut State who beat VanWhats’-his-name in the Boro in 06.

From the looks of the first 2 games………..we have neither the talent or the coaching to break 500.

So just because the Team has a bad game you jump off the Ship, well first of all you are not a true GSU fan. Regardless of what happens we all support our young men, lets be real, this is a very young Team and at any level of Sports you will struggle until you get your feet wet, please dont panic GSU Fans, this Team will get better as they go, honestly speaking a loss was good at this point in the Season, if you watch from hear on out the younger guys will understand that you must continue to work hard and good things will happen,          P.S.  Keep the Faith GO EAGLES

I could not believe what i saw tonight.  What happened to all these good offensive players that was being bragged about? They didnt do anything against Albany or SD.  Dont they have any substitutes for a running game, and oh boy, what about the quarterbacks????Need I say more.  Where is Henton? I will not be in attendance to the rest of GS games.

Does anyone out there think we need some better offensive play calling? The Jackrabbits read us like a book. Where is our running game?

According to a few of my friends, the Eagles should be pretty good this year. You can’t judge the whole season from a close first game against a team that doesn’t count in our conference. The offense is looking better with more passing, and our rushing yards aren’t bad either. Defense is mostly juniors and sophmores, so defense should be able to step it up this year. More experience is always a helping factor. I predict we go 8 and 3 for this season and get a playoff game on the road, which I plan to be at!

I say we win 6 maybe 5 games Wofford and Elon will beat us as will Furman, App, UNC, and Chattanoga too So this will be another no playoff season and a wasted year.

Untill Sam baker Dies we are screwed and get these weak no name loser coach such as BVD and Hatcher Bring back the Triple Option cause it will not win in Big football just ask UGA

I have been to practice a couple of times so far, and watching this defense work and the intensity that is being shown…..The defense is the last of my worries now.  They are a NASTY group.  They are pushing each other extremely hard and their new nickname T.I.N fits them perfectly.  From last year to this year is NO comparison.  Go and see it for yourself.  If we get past the first few games I see a 1 to 2 loss season at the most. 

While the 3 man front gave up 172 ypg last year it gave the opponents passing game 240 ypg. That means they either put no pressure on the qb or cover guys couldn’t stay with their man. When the other guys wanted 3 or 4 yards it didn’t seem to be a problem to push the front guys back. A lot of tackling with shoulders resulted with extra yards gained. last in the league in turnovers kept our defense on the field longer than most defenses in the league. This has got to improve period. With a 3 man front you better have 3 dominant guys that refuse to be pushed back. Do we have 3 ?

Not too worried about the offense, they will score(31ppg last year). Scared to death about the defense(29ppg last year). Lost the best players to graduation. If this defense is as bad as last year expect the same record. If they somehow improve 8-3 or 9-4 is possible.

8-3 and a playoff berth
that’s a bit hopeful considering we are still a very young team, but we do have a starting quarterback returning for the first time in forever. you have to feel like some of those 37 freshmen we played last year will have had some time to grow up and contribute even more this year. i just have a pretty good feeling about this year and this team.
i’m not going to guess specifically which games we win and which ones we lose. and anything can happen once you get to the playoffs. so i’ll just say we’ll lose one or two we feel like we shouldn’t lose, but we’ll steal a game or two that maybe people think we shouldn’t win…either way, i’ll be there.
